This is somewhat of a repost/reclarifying question. I want to know which models of these generations of the mustangs only come in manual only such as the "cobra". I was wondering which others are only manual aswell such as are the "boss" or "mach1" manuals, but not limited to just those two i want to know them all? I would like to know ALL of the MODELS and YEARS that are MANUAL ONLY. I also know that cobras will have certain codes in their vin numbers such as C or R codes, and the best answer will go to the one who can give me a list of YEAR, MODEL, and their VIN CODE of the MANUALs only.

and yes I do know that the transmission type is not in the vin number! But certain VIN codes are only manual and such.

there were no Cobra Mustangs in the 60's, they were Shelby's, the Cobra name was used on Shelby's roadster and also by Ford's Torino Cobra..maybe you are thinking of the Cobra-Jet engines..

the only ones that didn't offer a automatic were the first year Shelbys and Ford's Boss models..

I posted this answer the first time you asked this question.

The Mustangs that i know that came with factory 4 speeds were the 1969 and 1970 Boss 302 Mustangs, a real Boss 302 is a 4 speed only car. The 1967 GT is a 4 speed car there is also a GTA meaning automatic. The GT is used in 1968 but the GTA is dropped and it becomes an option to have a 4 spd or Automatic GT Mustang. Most of the cars are optioned with automatic or stick shift. Shelbys and Cobra Mustangs are optioned with either 4 speed or automatic.
