I try to start my mustang and it just turns over never actually starting or running, just continuous turn over. Plenty of fuel in the car, I thought possible vapor lock, to no avail. Fuel pump?, fuel filter?. Inline 6 cylinder.
I can pump the hell out of it, and no luck.Any help, is much appreciated.

being a 65 Mustang it does have points,unless it has been changed to electronic...do you have spark?

careful not to flood it or over heat the starter

try starting for no more than 5-8 sec intervals

use starting fluid, its in a spray can at the auto store 4 dollars

Are you getting spark buy a tester 5 dollars, auto store

Fuel only- check cap, rotor, plugs and wires
Spark only- check fuel filter, fuel pump

Check your timing if you have fuel and spark at the motor. Engine may be out of time.
