My dad is buying a 73 Mustang Fastback. We always wanted an older mustang project but planned on getting a 60's mustang rather than a 70's. I know alot about the 60's mustangs but not so much about the 70's. Can someone fill me in on this car?

It was the last year for the classic Mustang, it got heavier and longer, but with the 429 Cobra Jet it was a mover.

I had one (my wife had to have it)
It was longer, lower and wider than the sixties.
It has a very wide engine compartment and would fit any engine you wanted. I put a 428 in mine, eventually.
The interior is roomy (for a 'stang).
It was more for older and fatter folks(like me).
The visibility was miserable, despite the great big back window it was hard to see to back up.
If you are a big guy, you might like the '73.
Mine was front heavy and would not do corners well, but it would burn up tires, if you like that stuff.
