hey im looking into buying a 1975 mustang II cobra for 500$ it has an amazing exterior and interior with new tires alternator etc. anyways its in nice condition except the engine is seized up and will not start.
im not great with cars, i now alot of stuff but not so good with diagnosing engine problems. im assuming that "seized up" can mean alot of things???? also if you have a ballpark estimate of how much it will cost to fix it if i did my own work that would help alot.
anyways i wouldreally appreciate some help, thanks!

just take the engine in it now out and get a 302 V8 out of the junkyard and install it in your mustang and you will be on the road for a grand or less.

seized up means that the engine is a boat anchor and you need to replace it. shop around for a decent price. myself i would look for a different car, the 70s mustangs were crap, just like many of the rest.

seized up means the engine is locked and won't turn over. a locked up engine almost always requires overhaul or replacement
