I have a 76 Triumph Tr-7 and have had it for 6 years. And now am able to restore it. However I want to be a complete custom. Keep in mind that I am restoring this from the frame up. I have seen this done on the internet, but no details on how to do so. How many steps and parts do you need to swap out the 4 cylinder into a 302 v-8 (5.0 mustang) and any suggestions or tips

you need more expertise that you have, if you come here to ask how. it can be done but you need a machine shop and expert metal faricators to keep it from looking like Fido's ***!
for instance, I'm sure it will be a high out put 302 so you will need a shield between cockpit and tranny and a short driveshat, balanced, a shortened rear end and axels and new firewalls in front as well as radiator etc. gas tank relocated, heavyer suspention front and rear...the list goes on!!!
