I am looking for all the exhaust parts behind the catalytic converter on my 1979 Mercury capri.
I have looked everywhere and can not find any part I need.
Questions:
1.Where can I find exhaust pipe/muffler for a 1979 Mercury Capri?
2.Are the exhaust parts for a 1979 ford mustang interchangeable with a 1979 mercury Capri?

Parts for the Capri and Mustang are pretty much interchangeable - the exception would be on the turbocharged Capri, Mustangs weren't available with a turbo. Instead of trying to get original parts, why not go to Speedy or Midas and let them custom bend the exhaust for you? It will be a lot cheaper.

There are so many parts for Fox body Mustangs and Capris. the parts do interchange. just search for Cat back exhust.

Oh nyninchd..., did you forget the SVO Mustang. It's the 2.3l turbo engine just like in the Capri, Tbird and Cougar

everything is interchangeable, The SVO didn't come out till 1984 with the FI Turbo..but there was a carburated turbo in both models..

Capri is same car as Mustang with Mercury written on it
