So i think its time to stop talking about it and just do it....i just need to save up my pennies, but i need to know what am i looking at cost wise for the parts. I have a set price for labor. Im looking at junkyard websites and the prices alone are kinda crazy i i ask a similaiar question before someone told me i was looking at about $800 in parts. So anyone has done this or gotten parts for a sawp at a junkyard it would be a big help.

I think you should sell it. Use the money you were going to use on the swap, and maybe get a 2000 GT or similar. Its not really worth the hassle.

there is no shift linkage. it is a fairly easy job. the pedals are the worst part of it. $800 with the tranny, shifter, clutch cable, flywheel, clutch, bezel around the shifter, shift boot and shift knob is a good deal.

well it would be around 5-800$ yes...but...it is a job...its not so bad about switchen it,its the part about the clutch pedal and the shiften link edge
