Once the RPMs come down a bit it'll shift, but not when shifting at ~5500 RPM. It has been able to np historically, this is new.

Anyone have a suggestion why this could be happening?

Thanks for the reply! I did not. My local transmission shop opened it up and replaced the syncros. Shifts great now.
