I'm going to get one. Great Choice just remember to keep it stock unless you are a true enthusiast and know what will increase and decrease power on this car (because it is already tuned and modified with high performance parts).

What color are you planning on getting? Im getting White, Silver, or Blue.

Basically it's not a car for someone who doesn't know much about cars. If you don't already know about the process of getting one ( you don't just show up at Ford Dealership and buy one, there is a procedure to through), then you probably don't understand what you're getting into. You have to procure a GT500, then you send it to Texas for the Super Snake modifications. Expect to spend around $50k for the GT500 plus another $25k for the Super Snake conversion. You will lose your warranty coverage should you opt for the 725 HP package, so whatever breaks you will be paying for the repair, and there are some expensive bits on the Super Snake. You will also need to know how to drive stick, an automatic is not available, but frankly if you cannot drive a stick you have no business in this car.

They will cost you around $72,000, and they are only going to produce only 100,000 Snakes.

With 725HP, you won't have to worry about any Police Interceptors, which top out at 150 mph.

That is a finally tuned engine, which can get "out of tune" quite easily so that you can notice it. You can expect high maintenance costs.

But come on now - graduating from school and thinking of buying a $72,000 car that will outpower anything it meets?

I got a motortrend devoted just to that car, it has 540 horse power (WOW), super quick and fast (quick being 0-60 and all that). They aren't very much to maintain. They only really have one problem and that's the $45k price tag (and that's for a cheap one)
