There is a thread literally on same thing on nx lage
I just bought my 11GT and it has 27k miles and the guy that had it before me was getting 14 lol. It's has gone up .5 in the 500 miles I've driventgmeyer said:Hey guys! Curious again and checking- What are you averaging for MPG? and along with that include your complete setup (car, gears, mods, heavy foot, etc), and how much of your driving is highway and city.
Also, what are guys able to squeeze out of your Stangs if you shift before 2k, skip-shift, etc?
On top of this all, PLEASE! No, "You bought the wrong car for MPG", "Who bought a mustang for mileage", or any stuff like that. This car would be a DD and I need to take all expenses into consideration. I appreciate it.
Ohh. And 26k miles on her. Have had my baby for about 6 months now.11GT, axle back, sportline springs, stock otherwise. I get 16-18 with no highway driving all driving back and forth to work less than 2 miles each way.
I have gotten 25 on one tank with mostly highway driving back and forth from a hospital 20 miles each way everyday for a week.
ThisI would have bought the new 5.0 even if the advertised mpgs were 5.
Wow that's a great commute to work, where I live it's all heavy traffic, crappy roads, and bad drivers... That's why I drive my Stang on weekends or night so I can actually enjoy it... I drive normal on a 13 Focus and average about 22-23 mpg13 GT/CS, average 24 city/highway. Live 15 miles from town on a windy, hilly road and get 22 regular, not gentle on car, automatic. Have 1K miles on it since new, and mpg keeps crawling up.
