Hey guys! Curious again and checking- What are you averaging for MPG? and along with that include your complete setup (car, gears, mods, heavy foot, etc), and how much of your driving is highway and city.

Also, what are guys able to squeeze out of your Stangs if you shift before 2k, skip-shift, etc?

On top of this all, PLEASE! No, "You bought the wrong car for MPG", "Who bought a mustang for mileage", or any stuff like that. This car would be a DD and I need to take all expenses into consideration. I appreciate it.

I just bought my 11GT and it has 27k miles and the guy that had it before me was getting 14 lol. It's has gone up .5 in the 500 miles I've driven
With just an axleback and super granny speed on a 60F night at sea level, I had this for an hour. With two 0-60s

Lol it's simple if you care about mpg go trade the 5.0 in on a 3.7 or a Prius lol the v6 gets awesome mpg and has balls but most of us when we bought are 5.0 weren't thinking of how much we would pay at pump . That being said I have intake and bama tune I get 16-18mpg keeping rpms between 1-2k and when I'm really driving 13-14 mpg
I would have bought the new 5.0 even if the advertised mpgs were 5.
2013 GT, 220 miles on it, average 16.5 miles at this point. Been climbing up since Saturday when I bought it (started at 13 MPG).
11GT, axle back, sportline springs, stock otherwise. I get 16-18 with no highway driving all driving back and forth to work less than 2 miles each way.

I have gotten 25 on one tank with mostly highway driving back and forth from a hospital 20 miles each way everyday for a week.

Ohh. And 26k miles on her. Have had my baby for about 6 months now.
13 track pack stock at 13.5 mpg everyday and 23 or so highway. But who cares :)

This
My 11 is still bone stock with 4200 miles and getting about 17mpg. This spring the modding will begin...but as many said I did not think about mpg when I got this ride. I have my daily driver that gets me 24 to 26 which I do care about.
2012 auto. Avg 18 to 19 with a kind of heavy foot. 3.15 gears. only mod is exhaust.

And very little highway driving. If I can get to where I need to go without highway. Then I'll go the back roads and enjoy my car.
13 GT/CS, average 24 city/highway. Live 15 miles from town on a windy, hilly road and get 22 regular, not gentle on car, automatic. Have 1K miles on it since new, and mpg keeps crawling up.

Wow that's a great commute to work, where I live it's all heavy traffic, crappy roads, and bad drivers... That's why I drive my Stang on weekends or night so I can actually enjoy it... I drive normal on a 13 Focus and average about 22-23 mpg
2011 mustang with 3:31 manual I get 18-19 locally and if I'm on the highway and keep my foot off of it I have gotten 28.6 mpg
17.5

'11 GT

40K
3.73's
Boss IM
Steeda CAI
93 Street tune.
2013 GT, manual, 3.31 gears, 7,200 miles on it.

In town usually 17-18 mpg, highway 24-25 mpg. Tomorrow I will be driving from Columbus, Ohio to Holland, Michigan and back, so will report on the mileage for the road trip. Should be about 600 miles or so.
2011 GT, automatic, CAI, axle back exhaust, 30K miles.

I have a combination of in town and highway, my round trip commute is about 65miles per day. I average 22/24 mpg. Last road trip to Dallas was over 26 mpg.
