The bushings on my front lower control arms are starting to give up the ghost. Rather than be penny wise and pound foolish, I am going to put new ones in.

Apparently, for the 2011 model year any aftermarket a-arms or bushings (presumably poly) will cause a violent shudder during braking and cornering. The reviews on American Muscle for the BMR a-arms documented this:

BMR Mustang Front Lower Control Arms - Hammertone Finish AA021H (10-14 All) - Free Shipping

My question to the forum is:

Should I upgrade the steering rack from a 2012+ or is the ONLY guaranteed solution for a 2011 GT to purchase the BOSS 302 racing rack for $1000 when upgrading to aftermarket a-arms?

Or just get the OEM a-arms and forget it?

Thanks!

Any rack 13+ won't have this issue (it was rectified mid '12) but, if were you, I'd just replace them with stock, unless you are intending to seriously track the car.
