Does the 2015-2017 engine cover fit on a 2018 manifold?
The 2012 engine cover does not fit on the 2018 manifold. It does look like the Shaker will mount properly on the 2018 manifold. All the mounting points on the manifolds appear to have the same orientation as each other. Won't know for sure until I get it on this week and see how it comes through the hole in the hood.
Finally made some time to get the manifold installed. Got a couple of things left to button up but the 108 degree heat chased me in the house. I painted the intake gloss black and powder coated the fuel rails just to see how they'd look and incase I couldn't find an engine cover to fit they might be a little better looking. I'm guessing my best bet is to order a cover from a 18 or 19. I also powder coated my JLT oil separators.
That was the temperature here in Northern California as well.... 108
It looks great!
Always seemed sort of counterintuitive to place a engine cover over a hot engine to help trap in the heat... It's very common nowadays, so what do I know...
I do know that your car is exactly one plastic engine cover lighter without it, though!
Have you been doing all of the powder coating yourself?
After a long search and finding very little help or pictures on how to. I desided to get my hands on it and fix it
Issue is after long period of use this buttons get carbon build-up and quit working or fail to work propertly in result of ending having to press them harder or not working at all...
I am looking for answers and you may help point me in the right direction. I own a 2012 Lava Red GT convertible, and called the number in the MCA mag. I was told by a ford rep. that there were only 96 Mustangs painted Lava Red. That’s total, Hardtops, Convertibles, GT’s, V6’s they couldn’t break...

My car has 67k miles, not sure what the previous owner did about maintaining.
Who uses what fuel injector cleaner? Do you get it done professionally, or just use the auto zone bottles, or just put good gas in?
