In Canada, 2013 GTs have bottom fog lights (same as those found on the CS edition) in place of the ones in the grille. These fog lights are connected to a daytime running light circuit, meaning that in addition to the two horizontal LED strips beside each headlight, in the daytime the bottom fogs are always on. At night, we can turn them on or off with the factory oem headlight switch found on all 2013 GTs.

Question: how can I disable the bottom fog lights from the daytime running light circuit, and simply turn them on or off using the oem switch like my US counterparts? I don't want to disable the entire daytime running light system, as the horizontal led's look pretty cool, I just don't want the fogs lighting up too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont think there will be much help on this until 2013 when wiring diagrams are released. I actually want to disable the fact that the headlight leds turn off when the turn signal is on and the headlights are off. They stay on with headlights on but during daytime running light mode one will turn off and it looks like one set of leds are blown. However I've checked our database at the shop and the wiring diagrams for these are not available yet. On top of that the canadian version will be different because of the fogs connected.
