I am wanting to put some Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner in my car, but the filler neck won't open up when I insert a funnel. Do they not want us putting anything but gasoline in there? I can't figure out if the filler trap door is magnetic or what this seems odd to me, I just believe in putting in an additive to keep things clean from the start. Also it would be nice to pour in some Octane Boost since all we have here in Oklahoma is 91 octane. If anybody has some tips I'd appreciate it!

Haha yes the good old BFH gets the job done, just not the "right way.."

OP,

What brand of Octane booster were you looking at? Are you going to be running any kind of FI or Nitrous in the future?

Shane
I just use the Lucas Octane Boost
No Nitrous at the present time, lol maybe 5-6 years down the road if I made it a drag strip only car.

It's made to where it can run on 87. It'll just pull timing and make less power. Otherwise detonation would rattle it to pieces eventually.
Yes I know it's only 2 pts octane but that bumps our Super Unl here in OK up to 93. We can only get 93 OCT here in very few places.

Why would one want to boost the octane? The 2013 is made to run on standard 87 isn't it?
It will run on it, but that's the bare minimum octane, runs much much better on Super 91-93 OCT. Especially if its tuned then Super is required.
