I'm wondering if any members know if Sync,fog lights and leather wrapped steering wheel come standard on the base model.I bought a base model but I have these on mine.I have seen other peoples 2013 base models that don't seem to.

Well i don't have the window sticker,but it sounds like i got the tech package.What is strange also,when i measured ground to wheel well measurements i had the same height
as a another member that had the performance package.

I have the base with the little fog lights in the bumper. To get sync in Canada you had to upgrade to the premium. Can't remember if it was standard on the premium or had to add a package also.

Mike, that's due to Canada's DRL requirements. LEDs can't be used for DRLs and for mechanical reasons they don't use HIDs.

Dave: Get your VIN and look online for ford window sticker viewer. You can just out your in VIN the url and see the factory sticker.

If you're in the US, you have the tech package at least.

Can you elaborate on the leds and hids? I have the led dtrls ,two little bars on the side of the hid? That's with my lights on.

Thank you for the info.I looked it up and i did get the premium model.Its funny, i had
bought another model that was a base one and all the paperwork was signed.The dealership called me the nest day and they had given me to low of a interest rate through ford credit.So i could have backed out of the deal,but the dealership had this
model for $500 more with the lower interest rate so im pretty happy.I only wish
Canada we had more selection to choose from.Funny thing the dealership had lots of
Boss mustangs in stock and they are not selling.In the province of Ontario we pay a
15% tax on a car so its a killer.

My dealer also had quite a few bosses. Tax here in Quebec is also a killer....just like our roads! Lol

Mike, do your fogs not stay on all the time?

2013 Mustang GTs in Canada have the V6 grill because the fogs on the '13s are LEDs. Since LEDs can't be used for DRLs they install the V6/CS foglights and use them instead. At least, that's the reasoning I've been told for it. GTs do have V6 grills though.

Before I chose candy Apple I almost bought a blue one with no fogs in the bumper!? I heard about the gt in Canada not having the grill fogs available but wasn't sure of the reason why? Something about federal law blah blah blah.LOL

LED fog lights. LEDs on them, like the ones in our headlights, are not functional for use on the road. They're just there for other people to see you. However, fog lights are meant for visibility for the driver. Different circumstances.

Canadian car fog lights and you can also see my cheap stock hood grill mod.Removed by
using a hand saw some honeycomb then Plasti dipped the whole grill and painted the radiator
with black spray paint.
