Hi there everyone.
I am totally brand new to this forum group so I hope you will bear with me if I am doing anything out of order.
My car recently has been having an internal heating problem. What happens is that the heat takes some time to build up and after while it gets warm, then it gets a little hot but it eventually decreases and get cold again. This happens even while driving.
Coolant level in the overflow tank seems to be present so I don't know whats going on.
I hope someone in this group can help me understand what might be going on and what are my options towards resolving this issue.
Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Check the level in the radiator as well.
How? There's no radiator cap which is why there's a cap on the overflow tank.

Could be a problem with your blend door among other things.

i'm with RBK. change t-stat .
And since you'll have to drain coolant into a basin / onto your driveway anyway, probably worth changing the fluid and any hoses you can get to easily. Cheap insurance.
