Just bought a 2014 V6 'vert with the painfully boring base 17" wheels. I would like to upgrade to better looking factory wheels. Open to 17" or 18"options. If I am looking at this chart right (see attachment), it says that ANY Mustang wheel from '94 or later will technically fit on the hub and have the right offset... is that correct?

Might there be brake caliper clearance issues with earlier wheels, even though they are at least 17" in diameter? Also, will 2014 TPMS sensors fit on earlier generation wheels?

thanks in advance...

Keep in mind there are a couple different tpms sensor ranges.

Think they are

05-09
10-14
15+

The 05-09 might be compatible but the 15+ definitely aren't.

You might want to look at 2015+ takeoff 18" wheels like I used to have. You can get a brand new set off eBay shipped to you. It since the tpms sensors are different you will either have to swap sensors, buy new ones and have them replaced, or leave your 17"'s in the garage and they will sync back up if they show the failed tpms sensor error lol

I did the last until I sold my 17's, then bought my 20's

They look like this

Ok, those look great. You said they're off 2015-16 cars... which model? V6 or GT? or optional on both?

thanks...

I bought those same wheels with Tires & Sensors on Craigslist for $375.00. My car is a 2014 & the wheels were from a 16 so the sensors would not program. I had to take the sensors out of my old wheels & put them in the 2016 wheels. No programming was required.
I've swapped the same sensors into 18", 19" & 20" Rims & they work fine in all of them.
