Well we maybe able to help with some of the motor aspects. :good:

You shouldn't need any kind of ecu. I know on our older cars most people doing a carb swap delete the ecu. I'm just not sure what all the newer ecu runs compared to an old one.

What kind of tranny do you have? If its an aode I'm not sure what the fix is for that.because it is electronic. If its a t5 you should be ok if the motor you are swapping in is stock. Buy the v6 t5 is not rated for a 302. Either way you might need a new bellhousing. The drive shaft *should* still work, but be aware to check.

Besides the unknows with the ecu. You will need either a vacuum or centrifigul advance distributor.

You will need a low pressure fuel pump. This pump will most likely be external. So you can either modify the pickup. Or buy a new pickup designed for external pumps. It best if you can modify it yourself to save 100$.

You may or maynot need a throttle cable. The factory one will probably be long, but may still work.

They maybe some more stuff, but that's the basics and all I know. Lol. I don't know but we may have some swap article in our useful sticky thread that may or maynot help.

Im sure you will need motor mounts. But I'm not sure if you need a k member or not. I can help you get it running like fuel, ignition, and stuff along those lines. But anything pertaining to the body I am not sure. But I'm sure someone else will chime in to.
