Can't be that much. Not much is really required? No ecm, no electronics, carbed.
I feel like I read more butthurt posts then anything funny or informative anymore...
When you don't have **** to do..you tend to dick around....he probably has the idea but won't actually go through like 90% of the swap questions asked on this forum. It would be an interesting build to follow though.

Lighten up buddy..
Actually I already blew my motor so its buy another, fully forged 4.6 or 5.0 stroker or do something different.

In his defense, swapping a motor takes lots of money.
I just can't see how its going to take a lot of money. Get a 351w with a T5 ($500). Refresh it ($250). Get rid of my ECM, put throttle linkages in the car, get a custom driveshaft to fit T5 and 8.8 rear ($800 OR get an adapter). And figure out wiring on how to wire gauges and get a fuel pump regulator to fill carb bowl while utilizing in tank pump.

It's the little things that add up..you'll make more trips to autozone than you have your entire life..lol. no, but being without the ECM I'm not sure how it will be..wiring gauges may be the fun part..it won't bolt right up to the k will it? May as well just get a custom k if they don't make one for that motor and coil overs up front. Just a thought..I haven't heard/read anything about this swap in an s197.
Just throw a 4v in there with a turbo... Termi swap that bad boy with a turbo

Wont bolt directly to the k, but luckily, BMR makes a custom K member made EXACTLY for this swap and it already has 351 mounts for $400-450! Can't beat that haha! I know going back to a pushrod engine is a step back from my turboed 4.6, but like I said, the 4.6 is blown for the time being and when I pull It, I'm going to personally work on it for a year or two and then drop it back in the s197 and drop the 351 (which will actually be a 408/427 stroker) in a 87-93 fox (keep away from the four eyes lol!) That's my plan atleast lol! If I could do the swap for $2, 000, I would be happy with that.

Don't know where to get a termi and I plan on reusing the 4.6 and 351 in seperate cars

08mustanggt

as the racing season is over I would consider selling my engine... rated to handle over 1000 HP reliably :) you could put your turbo on full blast and be full throttle again in 1 week :)
Get a Boss 429 engine
