4R70W or 4R75W?

I have a 2003 mustang gt with an automatic but im not sure which of these transmissions above I have. And a lot of websites are very unclear on if the 4R75W's were put in the 2003 mustangs.
I'm just wondering if there is any way I can really tell or find out which transmission I have

If it helps my door jamb says for my transmission code "U"

4r70w or 4r75w

According to my ford workshop manual. You should have 4r70w.It does not list any other auto tranny for our car. Hope that helped you.

Some late 03's do have a 4R75W and all 04's do.

My cars build date was in January of 2003 so I believe that I have the 4R70W
