Morning!! As happy as I am to have my 97 GT back, I know it's time to look for more power, and obviously the stock 2V NPI won't do for me. Now I have no objection for a PI swap, as it's tried & true, but I would really like to swap in a 96-98 Cobra 4V, because of the extra power across the board and the better exhaust note. My goal is to have 300+ hp with completely smooth drivability. I know I can achieve that with a PI Swap, but the 4V is more appealing, especially considering the potential for power down the line.

My question is what do I need besides a complete engine? Do I need the fuel harness? A new computer? Will my gauges work that I have now or will I need a cobra gauge cluster? How about clutch & flywheel? Am I missing anything else? I'm assuming besides getting the parts, it'll end up being tedious yet straightforward. Correct me if I'm wrong!!

Pretty sure the easiest route is to swap a 4V motor from a Lincoln mark 8. Should plug & play other than lengthening some wires
