Hey guys,

I have $500 to spend on mods and I'm not sure what to do next. I'm new to the Mustang world. Right now I have a black, 2013 base GT w/ only 200miles. So far I've only done axlebacks. Went with the Borla Stingers. Love them! So what should I do next. It's not a daily driver but probably won't ever see the track. But who knows..lol Here is a list of things I'm thinking about. Feel free to add to the list:

• Tint
• Borla X-Pipe
• Upgrade Suspension (Need to save)
• New Wheels & Tires (Need to save)
• MGW Shifter
• Roush side louvers & hood scoop
• CAI

Id go with shifter if trying to save warranty. Cai is really ineffective without a tune. Unless u get the tune from Ford your gonna void the warranty. Pluse cai and tune are gonna be over $500.

I did Borla S types as my 1st mod too... They are awesome, the next best upgrade would have to be suspension paired with wheels... That was my 2nd set of mods which was a very significant upgrade from stock

Definitely the MGW from that list. Youll only need ~$200 for tint, which Id then do next.

Don't really need a CAI as it already has one. You could also search CL or forums for a unlocked tuner and other things. Nothing wrong with using/buying slightly used parts.

I'd say tint or shifter. I've done the tint & am only holding off on the shifter as I want to run stock class in Solo II for a while first--otherwise it would have been done.

I had the same question a while ago, shifter or springs, panhard bar, and bolts. Ended up getting a new gun.... But I would vote for the springs because your going to have the improved looks and everyday just going to be more fun.

I would buy the ford Procal tune. It's 290 on buyfordracing.com. Gives 16 hp, 60 torque @ 1500 rpms, increases mileage, and eliminates skipshift. Also keeps the warranty as long as you have a ford guy install it.

You lose factory warranty and pick up an FRPP supplied warranty that I believe is 3/36 instead of the factory 5/60

I say suspension, power train is excellent on these cars, but suspension is squishy, get lcas and uca, panhard bar, dampers, sway bars, springs... Obviously more than $500 but just a few ideas

Lol I got similar mods. Borla s, gt500 spoiler, and 35% tints all around. I'd say go tints and mgw first. then save for 20s then drop it! Good luck!

I did the MGW and then the Procal shortly after. First, careful bud... Your addiction is growing

MGW had the most impact on the driving experience. Would do it again in an instant. Also fun to work on your own car. It takes about 300 miles to loosen up. Once you start smoothly bumping it thru the gears in easy driving or blasting through them when you are hauling butt you will know it is worth the cash.

Procal is good, warranty included makes it great.
