Ford offers a 6 speed T-5. It's a T-56 I believe. Ill get more info on it. They also have HD wide and close ratio T-5's. I think you'd need to shorten the drive shaft and mod your cross member for the 6speed

So basically all I would need is the right driveshaft and the t-56 tranny and I could do it?

No a mod motor does not have the same bolt pattern as the V6, the sixer uses a small block ford bolt pattern (aka same as 302, same reason a 4r70w or a T-45/3650 from a gt won't work on a V6)

You have to get an adapter bellhousing

Where would be a good place to look for one of the cobra transmissions and what kind of price range would you suspect for the whole deal? As a reference i would be going from stock 01 v6 auto to the t-56

Highly doubt it would be the same DOHC 5.0 big difference lol
