You have to cut metal and a whole lot of it.NavyStang05 said:I already have 6x9's, please tell me what is involved, someone has to know, and there is nothing tweeter can do that I can't, it'll just take me longer.
Am I cutting through some kind of board, or metal? Because i can do board, im already gonna be fabbing a setup for my subs/amps

Don't count on it. :no:If instead of putting them in the stock slots, could I make a new rear decklid out of fiberboard and mount them directly into it
If you can do that and get it to work then go for it. But you got to get it to slide back in the same area and you have to be able to secure the speaker so it doesnt move.NavyStang05 said:If instead of putting them in the stock slots, could I make a new rear decklid out of fiberboard and mount them directly into it? My car is parked 3 miles away, so don't tell me to go look at it, because I can't. Does anyone have pics of the metal frame after the decklid is taken off?
