It's a gt hatch with the t5. Nice car and was just curious. I think I'm going to jump on it. I have had a number of foxes coupes, hatches, and verts, but no t top. Thanks for the link. I'm going to meet up with the guy tomorrow and I will take and post some pics. The only thing I don't like about it is the dang porno red int. blah!
Yea apparently it starts and runs but the tranny is shot. I know I can find a t5 all day on CL. It's in over all good shape and I can pick it up for $600. I can't see where I can go wrong. I'm going to jump if off and see if it makes music before I buy.
thats a great deal for that car, and yes not so many t-top mustangs. those cars started life as coups and ford had the roofs cut to add the t-top option. I actually have a whole mustang book of those with pics, kind of a crude process of producing them pretty neat seeing pictures of them just sawing off the roofs.
Yea I absolutely love the fox mustangs. I've owned and sold a lot of them so I am super excited to pick this thing up. I believe I'm going to hold on to this one. My wife won't be too happy though. Lol. I already have four mustangs so another won't hurt. People think I have an obsession... Nah
I have a couple of progress threads ongoing in some other forums but sharing here as well...partially to whore out my videos but also to have access to as many Mustang owners as possible who can provide suggestions or tips. I picked up a 1988 Mustang GT in late January. I've wanted a fox body...
I have a check engine light code that only appears on my dash after the car runs for a little bit. This is usually followed by poor drivability and a weird lag( almost like a miss fire) when i change gears(Manual). When i go to check the codes I get a perfect nothing wrong 111. I am unsure of...
Hello, I inherited a 1989 Ford Mustang GT from a relative and I have been trying to get it running after it sat in an unheated garage throughout Midwestern Winters.
I am looking for some tips and things I should replace in order to get this car running as well as things to check and do.
This manifold sits under the fender on an '85 carbureted GT rag top. A forever project replacing many vacuum lines destroyed during a flash fire under the hood.
Vacuum line goes through the fender wall, I have not yet identified the terminal end. What is it and what does it do?
