Why not just look for an 87 or better would be on 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and pilfer everything you need from a donor car.
I had an 88 Turbo Coupe with an Esslinger Engineering reworked head and cam that put out over 300hp back in the early 90's.

I saw a Mishimoto intercooler for about 300$. However, there is an intercooler kit with the piping included for about 800. I am new to Mustangs and to upgrades, so I just wanted to ask, why is the piping so much extra? Is it worth the extra 500$?
