doing motor swap on 94 3.8 auto 4spd with push button OD, this car is DIS....car engine harness is a 42 pin out connector,cars trans harness is a 16 pin out connector. got a 98 explorer 5.0, which is also DIS, with engine i got engine harness,engine control computer, transmission harness....explorer 5.0 engine harness is a 42 pin out connector...explorers trans harness is 38 pin out connector...

would like to know if any one knows how i can make this car run as a DIS car.....can i splice the two harnesses together, or is there another way.

NOTE: car does not need to pass any emissions... so now that crap matters if it works or not.

You're in uncharted territory for me.
I know you will need to use the 5.0 harness, but I don't really understand what you are asking if both engines are DIS?

You will have to get a Chiltons manual with good wiring diagrams and compare the two to see what the differences are.

cuz i, going to make this 94 mustang into coil pack 5.0..... n i think im doing it ok, im merging the two harnesses together. from the 3.8 n explorer 5.0 harness.

You want to be careful doing that or you are likely to fry some electronics or the ECU.
