i have a 97 tbird v8 4.6l it has the exact engine as the mustang gt. the body is different though. also, there are very few modifications designed for the t-bird. So, i was wondering what types of parts will indeed fit on. The exhaust for example. Am i right that it wont fit because the thunderbird is longer? thx

those x pipes should fit on that car, the t bird is wider too, making it more comfortable, and better handling, every thing under hood is interchangeable. plus once the exhaust is on you will take up the slack w/ tailpipes

the car is longer so it should not fit. because the pipe that goes over the axle would be in the wrong spot, you could make it fit but it will not fit right out of the box.

You can go to a muffler shop to fit anything on the exhaust of your Tbird, like x pipes.
