I have seen parts for my V6, 3.8L 1997 Ford Mustang on the net, and they refer to a VIN "4" - what does this mean, and how do i tell if i have a VIN "4"? I have checked my VIN and and there are 2 "4"s in it...Help

What they are probably referring to is the engine code in the VIN. If the eighth digit in your VIN (reading left to right) is a 4, then you have a VIN 4.
