takes more hp to turn the extra wheels so technically it would be slower taking traction out of the equation

But you can't take traction out of the equation. 1,000,000hp with no traction would get outrun by a fiat 500 if it had traction.

I agree, AWD is mad fun especially if you live anywhere near snow! But these cars are meant to be Simple... thats what they said about EFI though...

Idk I think AWD is fun and the Evo at just 291 HP isn't far behind the Mustang. Thst being said I don't think the Mustang should be anything but RWD.

An Evo with 350 to the wheels has gotta be pretty quick, especially an VIII compared to the X cuz it's a lot lighter. Yeah I think the Mustang is supposed to be RWD and is a lot more fun that way.

These are sports/pony cars. AWD doesn't belong on them. Plus, IRS is already going to add weight, don't need any more weight added with AWD.
