I have a 2000 gt with 185000 miles on it. Has 373 gears stock automatic and all the other extras for the year. My question is my abs light stays on and someone told me that I probably had a bad wheel speed sensor. Is there any way to test them instead of going to ford dealer and paying 165 for the computer diagnostic? I noticed on the part store site that each wheel sensor is a little different. I don't want to but the wrong one cause they are pricey. Thanks for the input guys.

The resistance between the pins on the sensor connector should be between 1280 and 1920Ω on the front sensors, and between 1830 and 2760Ω on the rear.

Any FLAPS with a decent code reader should be able to read the ABS DTCs. That will pinpoint why the light is on, and if a sensor is bad which one it is...
