we all know for a fact that you don't really gain the advertised HP gains that are advertised. anyone want to offer an explanation :D

Well, you do get the advertised HP. Just not all of it gets to those rear wheels because of drivetrain loss and such.

1/4 mile runs arent always expected either then advertised,,Mine was advertised as high 13s,,it was a kick in the nu#$,,when i barely got a low 14,,with the 93 tune

Our cars also adjust timing automatically for higher octane gas (to a degree, still can benefit from a tune). advertised hp is with premium fuel, at flywheel.

That has more to do with driver then anything. High 13's and very low 14's have been done on a stock V6.

I wanted to go to 1/4 mile but the closest one is 2 hrs away
I'll go after I get 410s in he spring
