So my coolant reservoir cap came off a few days ago and now my AC only has heat when the car is moving put never when its idling?

Did you replace the cap? Also, I would check the fluid levels, if it came off, you may have had some leak out of the system. I've had situations where this happened with low coolant levels, and that's never a good thing..

Check coolant, probably low.

Thermostat could also be stuck open.

Ok, well i havent replaced the cap yet, i dont have the money for it right now, and tge coolant looked fine for now, my car doesnt over heat either
