I would absolutely not do any cai without a tune...it has been proven to cause our cars to go lean which is really dangerous...even cais like the k&n and others that say they don't require the tune just google search it they have been tested

If you want to hear the whine of the sc get a smaller pulley you will absolutely hear the whine...that will also require a tune though

If you're changing the diameter of the intake tube then yes you need a tune.. Might as well do it all at once.. Intake tune and pulley.

Would u need a tune for the roush intake that uses the stock tube? I wouldn't think so but you never know.
Are you referring to the cai for the 5.0 we are talking about the shelby...regardless I would tune any cai that I put on because the cai is not really doing anything for u without a tune

You can order the procal tuner through ford and as long as they install it will not void warranty (supposedly anyway) in regards to the smog test your tune shouldn't affect that unless you were to remove your cats or something the procal will not give you as much performance wise and in my opinion is a waste of money

I have bama, but them Jon Lund, Vmp, they are all good. I chose bama because I was doing my mods slow and liked that they have the "free tunes for life" program...also bama gives a Warrenty to cover engine failures on the # 8 cylinder so it makes since plus bama is a little more conservative than the others so maybe a tad bit safer for daily drive...I plan to eventually get a Vmp tune for my gt500
