Hey everyone, I am sorry but I haven't posted in probably close to 2 or 3 years now but I still have my car and it has went through quite a bit. I just wanted to give a quick update. I bought a Brenspeed B326 shortblock and have upgraded a lot more since. I noticed there wasn't much activity in this section so I thought I would bring something up in case anyone had questions on how to beat these damn 5.0's ha ha.

High lift springs and steel retainers is about it and it’s a stage 2 blower cam. I don’t know what numbers are yet as I’m still tuning it and getting datalogs done and sending them to my tuner Lito. But before I dropped this engine I hit 525 hp and 600hp on the Nitrous 80 shot

That's nasty! I have everything bolt on cams and a rear end, just looking to decide on a blower or turbo

Yea I have the rear with 4.10’s and it’s been awesome! But yea blower or turbo is a tough decision as you can have more hp with turbo but with the right blower like a procharger which will be my next upgrade but I feel like you have more fun with the SC, I love the right now power with the SC which is why I would stay with it. Yea I’m really hoping to get it all tuned up and then hit the Dyno with it soon but I’m hoping for some sweet numbers!

Yea I have a daily for highway driving but I could drive this but why when I have another car ha ha. Yea and if you plan to make big power then the turbo is the way to go. I think if I went with a procharger I would achieve everything I want as well but this transmission needs to get upgraded first ha ha

Yea it might be a few years now, this new engine block set me back a few years I think ha ha, I’ll have to sell a few of my cars and probably still be a little short on the Procharger ha ha. But if crazy happens I’ll let you know

Nice! You are going to love that power! Did you order the whole kit with injectors and a new fuel pump or a boost a pump? Make sure to get a good heavy duty tensioner!

Yes, McLeod is a great clutch to get I have the RXT kit in mine and it feels like stock but holds up to 1000 I think but kind of expensive but you can get an RST as well but I like buying once and not having to worry

Yea my clutch kit is a twin disc and it was like $1,300 but well worth the money! I have a one piece driveshaft as well, you will notice a difference with it I’m sure! You will have to let me know the numbers when you spin the Dyno!
