Any custom tune could potentially void the powertrain warranty if there was a problem relating to the PCM. That does not mean the second you upload the tune your warranty is voided. The problem has to relate to the PCM in order to lose the warranty. Also, it's always best to just check with your local Dealer's Service Manager, to see how they deal with the situation. We've found that some Dealers won't void the warranty at all, actually.

"Technically" it does void the warranty if the Ford dealer you take it to wants to. You can claim all sort of things, in the end they can void it. You cant stop them they may not mind, they may never know..... but if they do find out and want to they can void it.
