I wanted to purchase an Optima battery but found out it would not fit in my car. Anybody know how to get it to work. Or is there a good option.

Way back in 2008 I ordered an Optima battery for my Dodge from my local auto parts store. It came with a spacer and I think a mounting bracket, so It would fit my car.

Do not remove it! Most batteries have a non-translucent wrapping that covers that copper wire along the side and helps keep all of the pieces in place. This wrapping looks like it's just a clear design to serve that same purpose. You can remove the bar code sticker though. This wrapper holds the protection PCB in place and covers the positive connection to it. You create a risk of a short if you remove it and may cause the PCB to detach. When you purchase batteries from https://batterytools.net/, They will always warn you about such actions, just check the manual or ask your supplier if you have questions.
