What's the best battery for a somewhat "racecar? I don't have any amps or subs so an optima yellow top is not needed. I'm just looking for choices other than an optima red top.

Just get any gel filled one. I got a cheap Walmart one and it is fine.

I went ahead and got another duralast. Wanted the optima, but i wasn't about to pay 200$ for one. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Iv ran the duralast gold in all of my vehicles and loved them. Even had one in a 95 ranger i had a 1500watt rms stereo system and never had any charging problems

I have a duralast gold with my sub amp and 4-channel along with a 130amp alternator and it works great.
