Sadly, I haven't reallty had a safe time to find out. You may or may not be able to tell, but it was raining when I did the install and it hasn't let up. The roads are very greasy and I just got my car back from the body shop (the tale is told in the thread titled "FML (Wreck)" in the General forum) so I don't want to risk it.Everything looks like it's in order on the hood. Good work Mkolabin!
Thanks for your support and posting up your experience. It's awesome to hear feedback like this from our loyal customers!
How's the throttle response feel compared to before? It should have picked up a good bit once your PCM learns from driving.
After a very nice, dry drive in to work... spirited but legal, I managed to get a good feel. The throttle response is noticibly quicker, and once I have the BBK TB on there also, I bet it'll be pretty sharp! It's probably for the best to stay inside until the roads clean up! Wouldn't want to hit some oil/water and have an accident. Let me know how it drives once everything's cleaned up outside!
I knew you were like the throttle response! Well then again, who wouldn't?After a very nice, dry drive in to work... spirited but legal, I managed to get a good feel. The throttle response is noticibly quicker, and once I have the BBK TB on there also, I bet it'll be pretty sharp!
Over 3500 RPM there's a nice, distinct yet very subtle tone that comes from under my hood. I love it.
Bolt ons, from BBK, through AM, are awesome!
I like telling my friends that live in mobile homes that both of my vehicles cost more than thier houses lol"My other car is ALSO cooler then yours"
"Honk if you like getting kicked in the teeth"
Have no idea what dde2c is. Lol. Supposed to be a smiley face there.A pick of the 97 cobra I had before I got my Shelby. Somebody else put Saleen across the window. I did the whole car from American Muscle. Even the nitrous kit. dde2c It had almost too much to even list.
Loved this shifter.
