Android and ios are going to be the same functionality for the most part. The only thing you have to watch with some Androids is the manufacturer goes too nuts with their "custom overlay" and there are glitches. Now that I am on T-Mo, I'm going to start getting the Google Nexus which is Vanilla Android to fix this issue as far as I am concerned.
Now if you are looking for a top of the line phone to get right now, get the LG G4. The Galaxy S6 is not doing super great and there are a LOT of complaints about it. Having owned a LG G2 and G3, they have been superior to every Galaxy offering they've gone up against but weren't as heavily advertised or well known until now. I mean the G3 just murdered the S5 in every way IMO and the G4 demolishes the S6. Even the G2 was light years better than the S4.
