I have the bama and it is awesome with the 91 and 93 octane tunes,it pulls twice as hard as it did I have an auto and it firmed the shifts up a whole lot ,I mean it will grab a gear and hold the gear a lot longer between shifts, its like I had a shift kit put in on the trans and the motor came alive, best money I ever spent was my SCT BAMA TUNED.hope this helps

is bama tune the most aggressive or are there

others out there like MPT?
Thanks for showing some interest in our Bama tunes, we really appreciate that!

We write our tunes very safe, while still delivering the most amount of power possible! For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys.

If there's anything you don't like about your tune and would like us to adjust, that's not a problem at all! Just hit up the Bama team and we'll exchange some datalogs and get your tune dialed in perfectly for your driving habits!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you ever have any questions or need some assistance! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

I like my steeda tune a lot. I wanted an mpt tune but heard their tunes are aggressive but not very safe. Maybe when I get more mods ill switch over to mpt tunes, well see. Depends if steeda can write me updated tunes if not ill probably make the switch to mpt.

would a dyno be better than a bama even tho bama uses a dyno? I'm jus tryna squeeze every bit of power out

A dyno tune is always the best you can do (as long as the guy doing it is good). Bama tunes are great because you can get new ones when you do little upgrades for free and their customer service is awesome. I would definitely recommend the bama tune for light mods. Once your done modding then get the dyno tune. Remember that you need a new dyno tune when you make changes to the car, and that won't be cheap. Most proper dyno tune sessions will run about 100$/hour and every dyno operator will want to use their hardware which means a new tuner device. So add another 400 to that. Get the bama.

I wouldn't call it a waste of money. As long as it's a reputable shop you'll see better gains then any mail order tune could give you. It's also more reliable and safer. The tune is made specifically for your car not just the 3.7 V6 in general. It's like buying a suit. Maybe you can find one in your size that fits great but having one tailor made for you will fit better. Downside is that it is more money. And spending the extra $$ to have it fit just a little bit better is up to the person buying. But I wouldn't do a dyno tune until all my mods were done. Would be the icing on the cake just to get max performance from everything I've done. Wouldn't want to pay up for a new tune after every single mod..

Its a waste of money on a N/A car because ur only going to see minimal gains. Dyno tunes are really meant for F/I cars to get all they can out of their power adders
