Unless someone has made this swap, you won't find out what "other parts" you'll need until you do the project yourself.
I'm sure they'll be a lot of fabrication involved but the end result should be a very unique and interesting vehicle.
Go for it.

This is possible, but why would you want to?

Both Ford and BMW fans would be dis-approving to say the least..

And there would be a lot of fabrication.....

How about using the M5 engine in a smaller, older BMW?

Or using the late model Cobra engine in the 66? I know that's been done before, but it makes a nice package , as would a 351 Cleveland motor, if you could find one......

Dont do it. First of all the modifications would be to complicated. Second, the Mustang deserves better treatment than that, drop a 302 or a 351W in there.

ecu, electrical system, cooling system. you'd need to line up the engine mounts and fabricate ones on the frame to match with the engine. anything's possible.
