Went to a Ford Dealer that I had found that had a variety of Mustangs so I could decided what I really wanted.
Tested a 2017 GT automatic and was not impressed. Heavy and bulky feeling. Got to drive the GT 350 and up to 4000 rpm's it's nothing special. Above 4000 it kicks in. I like bottom end torque.
They had a 2012 Shelby GT 500 with 3000 miles. Immaculate but 42,000.
I tried a 2011 GT red convertible premium and it was nice but really didn't want a convertible.
The last car and the least expensive was a red 2012 GT standard coupe with only Brembo and 3:73. 18,000 miles and it was immaculate, like new.
Great bottom end and a blast to drive. It has Magnaflow mufflers and a MGW short throw shifter.
I bought it and am very happy.
I think the 2011-12 was a great looking car and glad I lucked onto this one.

The 10-12 body style is easily the best looking. Way more aggressive front end and just meaner all around. 13/14 tails are plug and play but the aero lights are underrated like crazy.
