I have the factory system (if it qualifies as a system) and put a clarion 6 disc changer in (it's been laying around for years) using the fm modulator. Well, I lost/destroyed all the wiring for the modulator, including the modulator, and bought a replacement kit off Ebay for $20.
Well it came with a remote, so I ended up attaching it to the underside of the steering column, pointing at the display for the Changer ( a little remote display thing) that I mounted under the dashboard on the left side, by the hood release.
