I saw plenty of cars break leaving the line at BG, unfortunately a couple of them were close to home.....Our 89 coupe which we have now nicknamed "The Goat" because of its healthy appetite for parts. On day one we ate a FMS aluminum driveshaft with Strange U Joints and yokes....broke all of the ears off both ends of the driveshaft and the Strange U Joints....with a bunch of running through the swap meet we found another driveshaft and with the help of Nate from TREMEC, they DONATED all the parts to put the car back on the track....THANKS Tremec, we ALWAYS use your tranny's and will continue to promote your great products! This was the end result of attempting a stock driveshaft.......Our good friends at Blow By Racing were in their final pass competing for king of the street and broke their driveshaft......note to self 2011 Mustangs are Heavy, we had to push that car a lonnnggg way. That really sucked for Chris and his team they really had pushed their car to the limits to reach that goal, NEXT Year we'll get'er done!
