yes I'm getting a tune, I bought one 4 days ago from American muscle and it's the bama one, I'm getting it today!! hopefully I can pick it up from where I work to get it faster. lolYess your engine will blow up lol jk..
No biggie.. are u getting a tune?
These guys already have you set, but just to confirm. Pulling the negative cable for 30mins is not a bad idea before installing any Performance parts! You're gonna love the Bama tune when you get a chance to upload it! Then you'll really see the benefits of having a CAI.yes I'm getting a tune, I bought one 4 days ago from American muscle and it's the bama one, I'm getting it today!! hopefully I can pick it up from where I work to get it faster. lol
MustacheMustang,so I have a sr performance cai and bama flash tuner already in my car installed, should I still unplug my battery for 30 minutes for good reason and another question, my battery died today because It wasn't on but the electronics were on for a while, (might need a new battery) but does that mean I have to reinstall the bama race tune again into my car or is everything okay?
ok, I unplugged my battery terminal for 30 minutes, it's ok to drive or do I have to re-upload race tune?MustacheMustang,
You should be fine. There's no need to reload the Bama tune. Also, pulling the negative battery cable is not mandatory at this point. Your PCM will make adjustments accordingly, regardless.
In other words, you should be good to go once the batter issue gets figured out. Let me know if you have any other questions!
