I have a CAI at my house for my 2013 v6 which will be here next week. I heard a rumor saying you should wait untill after your first oil change to install. Anyone have any Insight on this?

I have never heard of that. I put my airaid CAI on before my first oil change and didn't have any issues.

that doesn't sound right. it would not hurt anything if you changed it before you ever even cracked it. Just about all tells about what to do and not do when you get a brand new vehicle are big time false

Yea, I would call shenanigans on that one. Adding a CAI wont do anything but help you out...
