Finally got around to painting my calipers this weekend. It took about an hour and a half and cost 15$ (VHT caliper paint and break cleaner).
I cleaned them off really well and masked everything off (this took the longest) and painted four coats. It was really easy and if you haven't done it already GET ON IT!

The red is darker that was a flashed picture I think. And duplicolor caliper paint

Looks good! I did mine red too, but went the duplicolor route with the brush. I did not use the brush that came with it though lol..

I might be considering doing this at some point in the future. Would a foam brush give better results or is it more about not getting bristles stuck in the paint?
If I painted them on I would definitely go for a foam brush...but I do recommend masking and spray painting. It was really simple. Just my .02
