ok so i am the owner of a 1996 mustang 3.8L. The previous owner broke the part of the pigtail that anchors it to my camshaft sensor. i have tried to fix a few times with electric grease, ziplocks, and electric tape. but i am still getting a misfiring cylinder code in cylinder 2. i have changed my spark plugs, and wires, anda a friend of mine told me i should try fixing this before moving on to my distributor and my fuel injectors. the reason being is that i dont think my distributor is out, and i can smell gas which im guessing is coming from the misfire in cylinder 2. The main problem i am having is finding the pigtail itself because every pigtail i find is a two wire and i need a three wire, if anyone knows where i could get this part or even just a way to make sure my pigtail i have now will stay anchored on, it would be greatly appreciated.
